Brainy Academy presents Brainy Builders with Lego ® Education (ages 6 and up)
Brainy Builders is a unique program designed to increase a child’s capacity to learn and to think logically.
Brainy Builders teaches children logic and problem solving skills by using materials specifically designed by Lego Company for educational settings. Children are introduced to math, physics, pattern recognition, engineering and construction. In age appropriate classes children build robots, simple and complex toys, machines and structures. Children learn to resolve problems using logic and creative thinking. They learn to create and test theories using the scientific method and to draw their own conclusions. Classes take place once a week for 2 hours. These classes are appropriate for children ages 6 to 9.
We also offer an Advanced Robotics class for children ages 12 to 14. In this class children build robots using complex materials and study high level robotics and programming. Enrollment for this class is available by instructor approval only. Please contact the academy for more information.
This program is appropriate for children who would benefit from a unique environment where logical thought and ability to learn are expanded.
